Open the March Preparation screen.
Select your heroes.
Set your troop composition.
Tap Formation.
Choose Save Preset.
Name your preset and save it.
Your formation will be available whenever you prepare a new march.
Kingshot allows you to save formations in two ways:
Number-based:
Saves the exact number of Infantry, Cavalry, and Archers.
Percentage-based:
Saves troop ratios (for example, 50% Infantry, 30% Cavalry, 20% Archers), automatically adjusting to your available troops.
Percentage presets are generally the better choice because they remain effective even when your march capacity changes.
Formation presets help you:
Save time.
Join rallies faster.
Avoid setup mistakes.
Keep consistent troop compositions.
Switch quickly between different game modes.
Many players create separate presets for Bear Hunt, Alliance Rallies, PvP, City Defense, and Resource Gathering.
